Positano
Positano is considered the “Gem of the Divine Coast”. Set in the mountain, surrounded by rich vegetation, it looks like a huge nativity scene. The town develops vertically, the houses, one on top of the other, are characterized by arched porticoes that overlook the sea, giving it the appearance of a precious stone. Walking through the narrow streets, you can reach the Spiaggia Grande, a wild pebble beach used by fishing boats from which you can have a splendid view of the coast and the city. Not far from the beach is the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, whose colored dome, covered with yellow, blue and green tiles, is visible from the whole town of Positano. A few miles from the coast there is a small archipelago called “Li Galli” or the “Sirenuse” considered the home of the Sirens. Above Positano, two villages overlooking the sea, such as Montepertuso and Nocelle. This is where the famous “Sentiero Degli Dei” begins, offering a wonderful view over the entire coast.
